The Doctor's Wife

Last Saturday we seen the long awaited Doctor Who Episode titled The Doctor’s Wife.  What can I say about this fantastic episode?  It was one of those episodes that has all emotions in it and still has a really good story to it.

The history between the TARDIS & the Doctor is so lovely. When the TARDIS said that it was her that stole the Doctor and not the Doctor Stealing the TARDIS was just beautiful.

So the story of this episode was the Doctor gets a distress call (Mail). From another living Timelord the Doctor takes Amy & Rory outside of the universe to a planet filled with scrap TARDIS’s.  The planet was called House which talked and fix people who landed.  This was his entertainment.

When the TARDIS lands on House she is drained and put inside a human body.  The human is called Idris.  House runs away from the planet inside the empty TARDIS as the Doctor tells him that he is the last Timelord and that he has the last TARDIS.

TARDIS & the Doctor try to make a new TARDIS to chase House Down. They catch him and the TARDIS goes back to its normal body.

Amy & Rory are inside the TARDIS & House plays games on them until they get to where the Doctor and TARDIS (Idris) want them to go.

When Idris dies as the TARDIS she says words that she (the TARDIS) has always wanted to say and the Doctor and TARDIS have a special moment.  But just before that Idris keeps repeating “the only water in the forest is the river.”

What could that mean, obviously it’s about River Song but who knows what it really means?  the Good points about this episode is that it wasn’t much linked with Amy and Rory.  It was the Doctors alone time with his TARDIS.

So that’s another Episode down.  Tomorrow is the rebel flesh a 2 part episode, it looks very exciting.
