THE X FACTOR

Hey Guys

So today I promised a X Factor video today, due to a technical difficulty I can't do it so I am going to write down all of my thoughts of the weekend results.

Firstly I bid a farewell to Shelley Smith, It was great to see her fun side this weekend but this may have been a little soon and this may have caused her to lose her place at the weekend.

Lets get to the other contestants now. The first category I will address is the Groups. Sadly Kingsland Rd were in the bottom two this week due to flash voting, Should flash voting continue?, I thought that their performance of "Marry You" was really good, it may have not been the best but certainly not for the bottom two. To the people who say they are "One Direction Wannabes" then you should really compare them as even though they may sound the same but they have a different look and they actually dance as well. Since this isn't the first time a group has been compared to 1D I don't think that any band that comes on should be.

Miss Dynamix did not sing this weekend due to one of the girls being ill that day. As of this they have been given a pass to next week, Should this have been allowed?

Rough copy was the last of the groups to sing on Saturday night. I am a little biased with this group as I don't like this group. As Kingsland Rd is compared to 1D, why hasn't Rough Copy been compared to any band. To me they, without sounding racist, sound like every other black boy group out there, as Nicole said "they took a Backstreet Boys song and made it a Boyz 2 Men song."

Next up is the boys. I think this category and the girls are the two that the winner will come from. Starting from my favourite Nicholas McDonald on Saturday his performance was flawless. The dancers may have been a distraction to others but to me his voice just overpowers anything that is done on stage. My vote will be Nicholas all the way through I do hope that he does an upbeat song at least once. He is my top boy.

Sam Callahan. His voice is good and better than some people in the contest. It is really good to see him working on everything the judges tell him, my only concern is that he may work a little too hard and it may affect his performance sometime in the contest. Overall he has a good voice and you can see how much he wants it.

Luke Friend is my least favourite boy. If you watched my YouTube video you will know what my reasons are. I don't think I will ever like him. When he sang on Saturday I couldn't tell that it was him singing whereas I can when the other two boys sing.

Moving on from the boys we have the girls. As I said above I think the winner, or at least one of the final two, will come from this category. Tamera Foster was, for me, the best of the night. She made so much progress from week one. I think it shows you what the right song can do. Tamera singing the song didn't make me miss another vocalist one the track, as the original is sung by two artists.

My next girl is Hannah Barrett, Beautiful was a really good song for her this week. If I didn't know that she was on voice rest I wouldn't have guessed that there was anything wrong with her voice. was a strong performance. I think this weekends performance is what I am going to compare with for the rest of the contest.

Final girl is Abi Alton. Good voice not the strongest in the competition. The song shouldn't have been song with so much enunciation. Kylie done a slow version on her Abbey Road album and it really works. Abis version on Saturday just didn't do it for me. I think she needs to stay away from faster songs. This will be a way for the audience not to connect with her.

Finally we have the last of the overs category, Sam Bailey! she is the voice of the show. I think after this week she will find it a lot more difficult by being the last of her category. Sam can do it though. It would be criminal if The X Factor lost her. the songs she has sang live have been amazing. in my honest opinion Sam has nothing to worry about. KEEP UP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

So thats is for another week.  We have had tears, a fallout, kissing and KATY PERRY this weekend, next week is Songs from the Movies week, who's excited?? I know I am!!

Join me next week for either a video or a blog
