Hey all, its been a while since my last post. As you can read from the title this post is about The Eurovision Song Contest.
With semi-finals tonight and the Grand Final on Saturday I am already in The Eurovision zone!
Here is a list of my top 5 Songs and Performances from last years Eurovision.
#5. Bonnie Tyler - Believe in me (UK)
Bonnie was the United Kingdom's entry into the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. Having it in my top 5 maybe me being a little biased, I have more than one reason why. Firstly she is a UK living legend, some people may not see that but she is. The other reason is because she was just happy to be involved in such a big event where most of the competitors are young, with very big productions. Lets all hope that Molly this year can do the UK justice. Here is Bonnies entry from last year.
#4. Emmelie de Forest - Only Teardrops (Denmark)
This was the Winning song of last year. Why is number 4 you ask? The reason it is 4 is because I thought that there were other performances better than this song. Over the year I have grown to really like this song. The performance on the night, looking back, was very simple yet effective. Not my best Eurovision Winner but she did make my top 5. Lets see how Denmark do this year. Here is Emmelie's entry from last year.
#3. Andrius Pojavis - Something (Lithuania)
Weeks after the Eurovision last year I was still singing this song. With just being Andrius on the stage made it a little more real compared to the other acts in the competition. I was also liking this act because Andrius is HOT! as someone who looks forward to the grand final and not looking at any acts before it, i really hope Lithuania pull it off again this year. Here is Andrius's entry from last year.
#2. Robin Stjernberg - You (Sweden)
Sweden is the country i pick every year without fail and in 2013 Sweden didn't fail the song You was amazing and I was very impressed with the talent from Sweden last year, Again this may all be biased as I love Sweden and everything they offer. The Production was just not enough to beat my number 1. Here is Robin's entry from last year.
#1.Krista Siegfrids - Marry Me (Finland)
