Watched the episode twice now and only in the second watching i decided that this was an amazing episode. River and the Doctors wedding was never going to be simple.
Before we get into the story of it all just saying sorry for the long delay in a new blog.
Now lets get to business. First of all the eye patches was a brilliant idea, i always thought that they weren't just an eye patch. With the world crumbling and the Doctor still alive, all the idea of this world were amazing, this was never going to be a normal world as you seen we had, Silence, Trains going from London to Cairo, Balloons with cars, Charles Dickens & Winston Churchill being Buckingham Senate. In the first 20 minutes of this episode there was so many familiar faces.
The Doctor is always going to be one step ahead of everyone. If anyone could plan his own death then it was always going to be the Doctor, getting the Teselecta to take his place and be killed instead of himself. I'm not too sure if i like the idea of the Doctor going back in the shadows there is so many questions that have to be answered like, Will we ever see Amy & Rory in the TARDIS again? Will there be more adventures with River? and The first Question of all Doctor Who??
In This episode we here of a death of an old friend, and yeah i know what you are thinking we wish it was Sarah Jane but i think that is still to come maybe not in Doctor who But in the Sarah Jane Adventures. Having the Brigadier mentioned in this episode though was a real nice thing for the writers to do for the character, Lets just see what they will do with Sarah Jane?
